That 40% downgrade in formal battery longevity puts a wrinkle in what otherwise looks like a strong hardware update. Samsung has improved energy density enough to squeeze noticeably bigger batteries into the Fold8 line, but the Flip8 sees the same durability hit with no corresponding capacity bump.
